This site has been created to keep you up to date with what is happening in CBC and the Gateshead Federation.

 

 

Gateshead CBC is a non-profit making company limited by guarantee. It was set up in 2006 so that Gateshead had an organisation which could bid effectively for NHS contracts which came up for tender, keeping them within the Gateshead NHS family. It now successfully operates the Gateshead OOH service (GatDoc), the practice medicines optimisation service across South of Tyne & Wear (Pharmicus) and a locum and practice support service (Medicus).

 

Gateshead CBC supports the Gateshead Federation as an association of practices working together to share resources and provide high quality care as efficiently as possible. To this end it is developing services which will support practices to this end.
